As a tenant, you may need to register in the property, especially if you are a student or a  professional expat in a foreign country.

This registration has different names depending on the country e.g. In the UK it is called ‘Domiciliation’, in Spain ‘Empadronamiento’ and in Germany ‘Anmeldung’.

If you are going to need to register in the property, please include this when you make your Booking Request under the “Please tell us about you and where you will study or work” section as not every landlord allows this.

This criteria does not appear in the search filters. If the landlord allows this registration, it will be indicated in the listing in the Housing Rules > Landlord Policies section. Please note that registration is only possible if you are staying in the property for a certain period of time which may differ from the Erasmusu minimum stay per city. If you need to register in the property we suggest that you seek advice directly from the local City Council prior to making a booking request.
